Our User’s Story: The Restaurant Thief

We misplaced a purse in a restaurant. We looked around and couldn’t find it, so we asked the restaurant employees if anyone turned it in. According to them, no one had.

My phone had Prey installed, and it was in the purse, so we marked it as missing to track it! Prey pinged the phone and it was still in the restaurant somewhere.

We kept looking for it and finally someone had turned it in to an employee. We suspect someone had the purse but decided to let it go after they noticed we were persistently looking for it.

Final thoughts:  I love Prey. I handle the technology at our research institute and have Prey commercially installed on them.
