Our User’s Story: The College Heist.

After a series of break-ins in the college I work at, the thieves finally ended up getting into a classroom and stealing, among other things, 2 laptops that had Prey installed.

I marked it as missing as soon as I was noted that they were gone, and I got my first evidence reports 2 days after the events, on a Saturday. A lot came in! So I saved them and kept them coming.

That Monday the SIP division of the Police Forces in Chile came by and took all the evidence I had gathered and, with that in hand, they recovered about 80% of all the stuff the thieves had stolen the next day.

We’re looking to get Prey on all our college’s devices now because of that, THANKS a lot for this, really guys.

Final thoughts: Happy! To be honest, I didn’t expect much, but now I am insisting on getting it for all our equipment.

When things like this happen, better be ready.
